The local brewer has produced a limited edition beer in its Albion Brewery on Shobnall Road for the aptly named 'Brewers' called Marston's 'Up the Albion' in recognition of the squad winning promotion to the Football League for the first time in the club's history.

Marston's brand manager Des Gallagher said: "Everyone at Marston's is thrilled to see the Brewers promoted to the Football League. We wanted to mark the occasion with a celebratory beer which we've named 'Up the Albion' in recognition of their outstanding achievement this season."

At 4.1% ABV, the rich chestnut coloured beer has warming malt notes and a lingering soft hoppy aftertaste that'll no doubt help fans and players celebrate well into the night!

The beer will be available in pubs around Burton in time for the bus tour on Saturday 2nd May. The Beech Hotel on Derby Road just up from the Pirelli stadium will have the beer on taps for fans following the parade to the ground!
