Marston’s won two 'Pint Statues' Beer Marketing Awards

Marston’s won two 'Pint Statues' at the inaugural Beer Marketing Awards held in London last night.

Shortlisted in three categories across the awards, the first win of the night was for Best Stunt/Event for Hobgoblin and itsTaste the Nation sampling activity and then Pedigree picked up Best Integrated Campaign for Live a life of Pedigree.

Created and activated by the brands marketing teams in Beer Company and in partnership with Vital Marketing both awards were up against stiff competition from national and regional brands such as Greene King and Purity Brewing and the industry campaign, There’s a Beer for That.

Gaynor Green, Marketing Manager for Beer Company said: “We were thrilled to be shortlisted for three awards but delighted to win two awards – particularly as they are for our two flagship beer brands.”

Reflecting the UK consumer’s increased interest in beer and dynamism in the market, the Beer Marketing Awards was established to celebrate the marketeers and creative teams behind the brands, with categories that recognise any brewer, large or small to bring the whole beer sector together.

250 guests gathered for a range of beers and street food at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. The entire sector from the major international brands to smaller newer brewers were represented in the winners.
