There was also a long line of Bronze medals - Jennings Bitter, Marston's Old Empire, Marston's New World Pale Ale and Marston's Revisionist Saison Beer won in the Ales category; Krusovice Cerne and Krusovice Imperial won Bronzes in the Lagers category.

Jennings also came up trumps in the Repackaged category, with Jennings Bitter and Jennings Cumberland winning individual Bronze medals, with an overall Bronze medal in the Range category for Jennings Cumberland, Cocker Hoop, Sneck Lifter and Bitter.

This is a fantastic result for the whole group, as we took on the combined might of the big international brewers, as well as proving that we can see off the fashionable micro-breweries.

Representatives from Marston's and Jennings have been invited to receive their awards at a gala presentation evening at Dartmouth House in Mayfair, London, on Monday September 8.
