Service Start Date. Important - please read!

If you start using the service after the first week of the tax year, we will need the following information for each employee, so that we can keep correct details for the whole of the current tax year:

• current tax code
• year-to-date gross
• year-to-date tax

Also, when you start using the service, you will be able to set up other important employee details online. We can also do this for you, but will contact you after registration to agree which method you prefer.

Where can I find this?

You can find this on the yellow PAYE payslip booklet supplied by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).

The first part of the reference is three digits (this is the tax office number that deals with your PAYE). The second part of the reference appears after a '/' sign and is your tax office employer reference. So an example Employer PAYE Reference is 123/A246.

If you don't know this reference, just leave the field blank and we'll issue you a temporary number.

Where can I find this?

You can find this on the yellow PAYE payslip booklet supplied by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). The Accounts Office Reference is usually in the format 123PX12345678. If you don't know this reference, just leave the field blank and we'll issue you a temporary number.

Why do Marston's need this?

Please note that on your behalf we will authorise HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) to send all correspondence regarding tax code notifications directly to us, this will save you the need to forward these details via the post. To do this we need your tax office area reference and your account office reference.
