It’s really important to us that our pubs, bars and hotels continue to offer memorable occasions for every customer and every community – but that we do this with the safety of our teams and customers in mind.
Following the Government’s Covid-19 announcement on Tuesday 22 September, we’ve reviewed and updated our processes and procedures to enable us to keep our beers flowing, and our teams and customers safe.
These changes include restricting opening hours in our pubs and bars to 10pm, operating with table service and ensuring team members and guests wear face coverings.
Taking these extra precautions makes sense, so you can relax and enjoy your visit – like you always have. There’s more detail about the changes we’ve made below, so you know what to expect when you pay us a visit.
During your visit, face coverings will be required, unless you’re seated at your table. We’re welcoming our customers at the door, and there’s signage to help guide you around the pub safely, in line with social distancing guidelines.
We’re supporting NHS Test and Trace at all of our sites. On entry to the pub, scan the Marston’s QR code, text the number or scan the NHS contact tracing app QR code (where applicable).
We’re providing full table service, so food and drinks will be ordered and served at your table. Ordering at the bar will not be permitted.
We have enhanced standards of cleanliness in place, with a particular focus on touch points in our front of house areas, toilets and guest bedrooms. Hand sanitiser is available, and you’ll be given disposable menus which will be recycled after use.
We’re running a reduced menu – but don’t worry, your favourite pub classics are still available! This means we can operate with fewer people in our kitchens and stay compliant with social distancing guidelines.
Finally, we’re applying the ‘rule of six’ and our pubs and bars will close at 10pm.

We’re excited to be rolling out a new online ordering system called Marston’s Tap. It enables customers to order from their table, as well as from home for some click and collect services.
