Help for Heroes, the 4.2% ABV blonde ale created by Help for Heroes Veterans and brewed by Marston’s has been launched again in 2016 after an incredible success in 2015. The collaboration between Marston’s and Help for Heroes helped to sell over one million pints of the fresh and aromatic ale across the on and off trade, raising over £110,000 for the Charity.

Continuing their support, Marston’s will donate 6 pence per pint sold direct to the Charity and also provide participating pubs with POS support and fundraising kits. The beer will be available exclusively in Marston’s own pubs until March 2016, where it will be then be launched into the wider trade.

Mark Carter, Senior Drinks Category Manager at Marston’s PLC said:

Help for Heroes is dedicated to supporting wounded members of our Armed Forces for life and due to the help we were able to give the Charity by selling their bespoke beer last year, it felt only right that we continued on this journey. We look forward to an even more successful 2016.

As well as the beer being back on sale, Marston’s will also be organising charity events across their 1000 strong pub estate and organising a ‘Walk for Heroes’, where head office staff will take part in a sponsored walk from the Marston’s brewery in Burton all the way to Park Brewery in Wolverhampton.
