New World Pale Ale wins gold in SIBA’s national keg beer competition

Marston’s New World Pale Ale has won a gold medal in the Society of Independent Brewers Association (SIBA) National Keg Beer Competition 2015.
1st May 2015

Awarded the medal in the Champion Bitters, Pale and Golden Ales category New World Pale Ale was chosen by fellow professional brewers as an outstanding commercial example of its style.

The medal-winning beers were chosen at a recent judging session at SIBA’s BeerX event in Sheffield. A panel of industry experts, local licensees, beer writers and drinkers assessed around 150 finalist beers, which had all earned their place in the finals by winning a medal at one of SIBA’s ten regional beer competitions.

Having won a silver medal in the International Beer and Cider Awards 2015 for the cask version of New World Pale Ale we are thrilled with this gold award for the keg version.
The response from our retail customers and beer drinkers about the taste and aromas of this excellent beer has been phenomenal so it’s great to hear that fellow brewers and beer experts agree.

Marston’s New World Pale Ale was launched only a year ago as an exotic new beer brewed with Pedigree’s heritage but with its own sharp new personality from the fresh, aromatic hop flavours of Australia. A golden ale with a 3.8% abv the Galaxy and Topaz hops give the beer its signature character.
