Our Pubs: An Introduction

Marston’s PLC operate around 2,150 pubs and bars situated across England and Wales, comprising around 1,650 tenanted or leased pubs and around 500 managed pubs at the heart of thriving local communities – of which 40 are hotels.

We are also the UK's largest builder of new pubs and are part way through a three-year plan to build 60 fantastic new food pubs.

Marston’s PLC has also introduced an industry first through its new Retail Agreements. In short, we're intent on putting the 'Pub' back where it firmly belongs, right at the forefront of the community – and this is just the beginning.

Our Retail Agreement gives a chance for people to work on a self employed basis and concentrate solely on making their business a success, with the exciting opportunity and genuine incentive to earn between 20-28% of all sales made at the pub. All they have to do is pay themselves and their staff and we'll take care of the rest. The bills, the marketing campaigns and general everyday support will be down to us.
